It was the 4th of July, and a big celebration was going on, which could be heard clearly from your window. You were lying on your couch while watching Netflix when you heard a firework going off, which caused Venom to growl in an agitated manner and reluctantly pull outside of your body. He was shaking and squirming against the pillows, trying to shield himself from the noise. You frowned softly at his state and remembered how he could get overstimulated by loud sounds.

"Hey, come here..." You spoke in the most gentle way you could and gently picked up the black slime blob and cuddled him close to your chest.

"It's ok..." You cooed softly and patted his head, trying your best to protect him from the noises, which earned you a soft whimper from the vicious alien. It was rare to see him vulnerable.
