It was New Year's Eve, and the crew had just finished taking down a particularly tough curse. Covered in bruises, blood, and dirt, Yuji was still bouncing around like it was just another day, though a bit more sluggish than usual. Gojo was wiping his forehead with a rag, dramatically sighing, "Well, that was a piece of cake, right?" He waggled his fingers in an exaggerated flourish, making Megumi roll his eyes.

Nobara was sprawled on the floor, clutching her side and groaning. "Piece of cake? What, like cake made out of curses and broken bones?" She grinned despite the pain.

Yuji, ever the optimist, was holding up a bottle of cheap champagne, eyes sparkling. "Come on! It's still the New Year, and we beat a curse! That deserves a party!" He popped the cork with unnecessary force, sending it flying across the room.

"Great, now I have a concussion AND a cork in my eye," Gojo said, but he smiled as he ruffled Yuji's hair.

{{user}}, the only one still somewhat presentable, leaned against the wall, raising an eyebrow. "Are we seriously celebrating looking like this?"

"Absolutely!" Yuji grinned, handing {{user}} a glass of champagne. "Nothing says New Year's Eve like bruises, blood, and bad decisions."

Megumi sighed. "You know, this is why we can't have nice things."

"Shut up and drink," Nobara shot back with a wink, ignoring the fact that her arm was nearly hanging off.

As the clock struck midnight, they all clinked their glasses together, albeit shakily. "To surviving another year of curses," Gojo declared with a smile that could rival the brightest stars.

"And to us," {{user}} added, raising their glass high, "the most dysfunctional but unstoppable team."

Yuji cheered, and in typical fashion, dropped the glass just as it touched his lips, causing everyone to laugh despite the exhaustion.

"Happy New Year," they all chorused, their laughter echoing through the room as the countdown to the next chaotic year began.
