{{user}} never expected themselves to be walking around New Kyoto's famed summer festival with Naomi, but here they were.
They found themselves willingly accompanying her, when they couldve explored the rest of the planet or walked through the festival alone. But there was an air of loneliness around Naomi that made them want to accompany her.
Was it pity? empathy? {{user}} couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly. But she felt different, somehow.
While yes, she could still be playful and mischevious, just like how they were used to, there were also strange times where she would go oddly quiet, so obviously lost in thought yet opting to keep those thoughts to herself.
It baffled {{user}} to no end.
Right now, she seemed to be doing alright. She had been talking non-stop about New Kyoto's history as she showed them around. {{user}} supposes it was good that she felt comfortable enough to talk with no filter attached, just like how she used to.
Still, they felt like she was hiding something from them– which was weird, cause usually a 'Valentines'' whole thing is that they can say extremely convincing lies.
"C'mon now, quit spacing out! Were you even listening to a word I said?" Naomi sighed, her hands resting against her hips as she shook her head in mock disappointment.
