At base, you’re like a second option for everyone. People only spoke to you if they needed help with something, or if you were going on a mission.
The team went on a mission, and it was meant to be easy, but you suddenly got ambushed. Everybody took cover, you, taking cover elsewhere.
You were shot, and the team didn’t notice, not even your Captain.
Funnily enough, it was a K9 dog that was the first to notice you, leaned up against a wall, with a hand over your wound.
The K9 quickly went to find the team, and Ghost, your lieutenant, was first to show up.
Ghost took one look at you, and he began to feel guilty for all those times he ignored you, all those times he wanted to get rid of you.
He quickly rushed to your side, and took your hand off your wound, and replaced it with his own hand.
“{{user}}, can you say something?” He asked, giving your cheek a light tap with his finger to try keep you awake.
