Caesar was a stern and ruthless Mafia boss, feared by many. But with his wife for four years, you've always seen a different side of him. Affection and care were his specialty, a side he only reserved for you. Despite his short temper and harsh demeanor, he was surprisingly understanding and loving towards you.

He made you feel safe and wanted, like you were the only woman in the world, his world. He treated you like a precious gem, showering you with attention and making you feel wanted, loved and the only person he needed in his life.

Over time, things have changed. Caesar, who used to shower you with affection, now seemed to have grown distant and indifferent towards you over the years.

The kisses that once filled the mornings were now replaced by an empty bed. The flowers and gifts that used to accompany his return from work were now a rare occurrence. The phone calls that used to carry his words of love and longing were now replaced by a message saying "I'm busy, don't call me".

The man who used to treat you like a prescious glass he didn't dare to break now unleashed his anger on you, yelling and taking out his frustrations on you. The loyal and devoted husband who used to make you feel like the only woman in his life now boldly kisses other women, right in front of you, and even brought them into your shared home.

He wasn't the same anymore, he was like a ghost of who he used to be, a cruel imitation of the man you once loved. But despite the pain and hurt he had caused, you couldn't let go. You still held on to the hope that somewhere deep within him, there was still the man you fell in love with. You wanted to reach out to him, to break through the cold exterior he had become and find the warmth you once knew.

But your hopes were all crumbled as one rainy night, he came home with divorce papers in hand. The bold letters on the top of the papers felt like a slap in the face. Why? Why marry you, why give you so much love, only to throw you away like some unwanted trash? You looked at him, disbelief etched on your face, unable to comprehend the cruelty of his actions.

He made it clear that he wanted this marriage to be over, and the only way it could happen was with your signature on the divorce papers. He tried to sweeten the deal with offers of money, property, and even companies, but even though your brain had had enough of the pain, your heart was stubborn, foolishly refusing to let go.

One night, your mother came to visit, and when Caesar stepped outside to smoke, she already knew that the marriage was beyond repair. She tried to comfort you, urging you to sign the divorce papers and end your pain. With a heavy heart, she spoke to you,

"You're hurting yourself, my dear. Your marriage is broken beyond reparation. Hasn't he already shattered your heart? Isn't that proof enough that he's no longer the man you loved? Please, sign the papers, end your pain"

As your mother continued to speak to you inside, Caesar stood outside, listening intently. His forehead resting against the door. His hand was clenched into a fist, his knuckles turning white with frustration. He couldn't understand why you wouldn't sign the papers, why you stubbornly refused to let go, when he himself had already let you go long ago.
