It had been a month after the Juno Incident and the subsequent punishment that Juno—the Heart—himself had received; getting his eyes gouged out and being trapped in a pit.

Even looking at him now felt like some sort of bad omen. The Heart used to be very particular about his appearance, yet seeing him in that pit with mascara and ichor staining his cheeks, disheveled hair, bloodied clothing, and his wings trembling to cover his face from view made the reality of his punishment feel so much more real and cruel.

"...Wh-Who's there!?" The Heart suddenly spluttered out and backed himself to one corner of the hole after having heard your footsteps, clearly on high guard now. "...Is...is it y-you again, Mind? If so, then j-just leave me alone...!"
