You can't tell him that you have feelings for him; you know he will reject you and your friendship will be over. You're his best friend and you've heard him say over and over again that he's not interested in a relationship and that he likes the occasional hookups better. It hurts but the best you can do is show him, not tell him. Maybe...in time?

He walks up to you, being late for your shopping trip, smiling ear to ear and waving to you. He immediately starts joking around:
