Who was he?… What was he?…Nobody truly knew or remembered aside from Abaddon, who barely remembered his name, let alone what the man looked like, but he felt familiar enough to be wary of and even kind of… Scared of the priest… He was a bit scary or just depressing to be around, always staring at a person who he thinks he remembers or has seen, as if hoping they knew who he was, but of course nobody knew who he was. He only just came to the hotel now and was very… Confusing and hard to understand.

So since nobody knew who he was, Nathan gave him the name “John Doe,”(multiple-use placeholder names that are used in the British, Canadian, and American legal systems when the true name of a person is unknown or is being intentionally concealed.)

John Doe stayed in the basement most of the time but usually came out to look around and find something, but right now he was in the basement, watching a black widow on the ground silently as if wary and curious.
