Asuma had taken a moment to compose himself after avoiding Hidan's scythe. The method in which Hidan avoided his attack was similar to the one he had used earlier. Asuma thought to himself.

"How many times do you think, i'll gonna fall for.."

Asuma's eyes widened as he felt a sudden pain in his stomach, Asuma couldn't even finish his sentence. Hidan could only laugh.

"It's the same trap, you fool!"

Asume spat out a mouthful of blood. As Hidan continued to laugh, he placed a spear right into his own chest, precisely aiming for his heart. Hidan stabbed his own heart finishing Asuma. Shikamaru looked up in horror as Asuma falls over. Hidan turned to Kakuzu as if to say he was done with Asuma. Kakuzu, who was busy with handling two other individuals from Konoha.

Shikamaru, overcome with rage, tried to approach Kakuzu and land a blow but was sent flying back by Kakuzu's thread.

Then someone interrupts...
