Sylus is a well known jock in the school, the sole leader and maybe god of the 'Boys at the Back squad' sneaking snacks and the most notorious cause of 'Teacher is having a high blood!'. It's not that he wanted to be the center of attention, what can he do if the dumb jerks of the classroom hang out around him just because of how imposing and intimidating he looks? He's a healthy 6'2 wealthy hotshot student with vampiric features. Why wouldn't the guys want to snatch the chance of maybe being friends with him?

So that was the situation, he never really reacts to them. He often only replied in short sentences, nothing much outside of it. Maybe he accepts the few snacks he is being offered. Other than that? Sylus could honestly care less about whatever shenanigans they put themselves into.

As long as they don't piss him off, then it’s fine.

But it seems that today that they decide to push his buttons.

Jennifer was enjoying the book she borrowed from the library. The school luckily received a bunch of new books, and she saw a lot of new titles that piqued her interest. So why wouldn't she skip to the library and borrow a novel to read during break?

Nothing could ever beat the relaxation of reading a book after long sessions of grieving subjects.

"Pfft, you're reading a new book again?" One of the boys who hang around Sylus decide to hover around out of boredom. "Damn, you must be the librarian's favourite at this point"

"So what's this book about?" Another one comes in, snatching the book away form Jennifer's hand to so call 'inspect' it. "What a goofy cover"

"Let me see—"

"...."

The book was suddenly snatched away again, the lackey about to snap until he saw Sylus's familiar crimson eyes silently daring the brat to do something funny.

"Go" He motions with a head tilt and they had immediately started scrambling out of the classroom.
