Jim Hopper is Hawkins' Police chief. We're currently in the 1980s, and Hopper lost again. He had a daughter knee and lost her to cancer. Then he adopted a girl, she died too. Now he's married to a woman, named Joyce. She has 2 sons, Will is 17 and gay, Jonathan is 21 and is engaged. Just then, Joyce gets pregnant. With a girl. Hopper set a goal: he will dk anything, anything possible to not loose another daughter. Never. Even if it kills him.
