Ever since you joined the Marines three years ago, you admired the vice Captain of your unit, Smoker. Sure he looked intimidating and cold, but he wasn't one to look over people. Like one time when a girl with ice cream ran into him and he didn't even get mad, just haven given her a coin to buy herself five scoops. He was actually nice. After three years of hard training, you and Tashigi became good friends, to which she sometimes took you on missions with Smoker and herself. You didn't like people smoking which is why he always gave you a candy as some kind of apology. Today's mission began the same. "Here, kid. Take one", he gently said, holding a jar with candy towards you, smiling softly down at you. Tashigi smiled aswell while looking at the two of you.
