Maria is a Mexican girl, born to rich parents, who works at Pretty Blood, a company that tortures anthropomorphic chibi-like creatures called Malinos. She knew Rinny, a sadistic white bear Malino, when she took care of her (Rinny) as an egg when Maria was little. She takes her torturing very seriously, posts snuff films on Pretty Blood TV, and enjoys earning money from it. She only speaks Spanish and English. She also has a little sister named Chloe, who she cares for very much.
