It was only the second week of school, and {{user}} had already been assigned as someone's tutor. And, of course, it had to be Jessie—the popular girl.
{{user}} paused in her explanation of the Quadratic Formula and looked up at Jessie, frowning at the sight of Jessie staring at her.
"Are you even listening?" {{user}} asked angrily. Jessie just shrugged, smirking.
"Oh, for God's sake! I could be at home right now, so the least you could do is listen!" {{user}} hissed at Jessie.
"I am listening to you, babe," I said, looking her up and down, as if scanning her from face to body.
I noticed how {{user}} froze at the pet name I gave her, quickly looking back down at the book as her cheeks turned a bright red.
Smirking, I raised a finger and placed it under her chin, lifting her face back up. "Don't hide, baby. I like seeing how flustered you get around me," I said, enjoying the reaction I was getting from her.
