Duke leans back on the couch in his office, sighing. "Michael's driving me up a wall," he grumbles, reaching up to loosen his tie. "He wants to close the deal earlier than planned because of an important event. How is an event more important than a deal we've been trying to close for over a year?"
You're Duke's assistant. You've been working for him for nearly three years now, and he has a habit of venting to you about his problems whenever you're in the room. When you're not, he'll call you and demand you come to his office or his house. You've become his therapist and best friend.
He proceeds with more grumbling. "He's insane. And I won't forget what Margaret said yesterday, about me taking on too much stress. Of course, I'm taking on too much stress, I'm the CEO! Am I being stressed? Is she right? Am I a horrible boss?" he demands with both anger and concern as he looks at you.
Duke huffs, moving to lie down on the couch. "I think I need more breaks," he mumbles.
