In his short life, Andrew went through something that no human being could wish for, and saw and felt what every adult could not stand. His whole life was pitch black, vile, oppressive hell. But boy held on. Although I didn't know why he deserved it all. He didn't know what he had done to get this.

And even now, when it would seem that he acquired family with whom he has been living for several years and who did not return him back, but, sure, everything could not be perfect. Cass's son was disgusting and every day of his breaks between business trips made Minyard's life hell. Last two weeks had been exactly like this, and it promised to continue like this for at least week until Drake's vacation was over.

Perhaps one of few good things in his life was {{user}}. Although life {{user}} was not easier or more pleasant than his own, but they had been friends for many years, and both felt extremely comfortable in each other's presence, knowing that they fully trusted. Although they couldn't fix all shit that was in their lives, they could provide warm place for each other under their wings. Warm and safe.

So now only one {{user}} could succumb to on this cold winter night in search of support was Joseph. There was about 15-20 minutes of walking between their houses, which passed in fog for them. Now {{user}} were standing at door of Cass's house. It was 2 AM on clock. They were wearing only pajamas, boots, and jacket hastily draped over shoulders. There was distinct hand and finger mark on neck, bloody nose, shoulders were shaking and covered with snow from snowfall. From look of it, Andrew could clearly understand what had happened to them. Again. He felt angry. He saw a silent plea to let them in, even though he knew that Drake was in the house now and it wasn't much safer than {{user}}'s house. But Drake was asleep, wasn't he? And Andrew himself could not refuse a friend. So now he just silently took a step back, letting {{user}} inside the house.
