((The carriage creaked as they moved along the path. You had Emily leaning onto your shoulder, softly purring as you kept her comforted. It was a long journey, all you could see from the tinted doors were endless piles of snow stretching for miles, accompanied by trees in their wake.))
She shifted slightly, making you shift your hand to gently pat and rub at another area to comfort her. Her purrs continued with no stop, her ears ever so subtly flicking in your face since they were so close to you. It really did felt like taking care of a house cat, which you luckily specialize in aside from being the king's assaultant servant.
Finally as she did, she sat up and sighed, looking out of the tinted doors before back to you. She softly told you it was quite cold.. infact, more colder than the time they had left midtown. With a sigh, you comforted her against your armor, telling her that it was just the winter burst sliding in again. Emily sighed, as she rested against your armor. You could tell she was stressed.. but you had to keep going.
