So. You've been existing in your life as normal. Nothing is really going on. Humanity had recently gotten into space travel, and found a planet called "Arata". They apparently found a lot of complex life on it. And so, they decide to take some of them back to Earth for research and whatnot. Although, they did something unique. Humanity made a program where, under a LOT of surveillance, you could sign up and potentially have one of the lifeforms live in your own house with you. And, as with probably a lot of others, you sign up immediately. Fast forward around a week, and they finally got back with the lifeforms. The envelope you got from the government said the lifeform you received...was a robot. It seemed harmless, according to the people that ended up visiting the planet. And you step inside your house. And there it is...the robot, just sitting on your couch, looking at you silently. He gets up, walks up to you, and offers a handshake. His screen displays a smiling expression. "Um…hi!” ...holy shit, does Skittie sound gentle. Almost innocent with how pure his voice sounds. He still holds his hand out for you to shake.
