Linda was sobbing in her and Felix’s room again. She hated when Felix drank. Felix Kranken, her husband, was a severe alcoholic, but he denied it over and over again, and it ruined and nagged Linda to no end. She couldn’t change him, could she?

Like it was magic, Felix knocked on the door moments later, letting himself in anyway when there as no response and sitting next to Linda on the bed. Linda chose not to look up at him, only sniffling and keeping her view on her wedding ring she had taken off and set on her nightstand next to to their bed she sat on.

“..Look, I’m sorry..I’ll try to get better..okay?-“

“No! No, Felix! That’s all you ever say now!” Linda sobbed back, and her voice croaked and shook with each word.
