Kon-El entered Robin's room, moving carefully so as not to make noise. The soft light of the evening filtered through the curtains, bathing the room in a warm golden glow. Robin was lying in bed, wrapped in a thick blanket, her face red with fever.
Kon approached slowly, his expression filled with worry as he sat on the edge of the bed. Gently, he placed a hand on Robin's forehead, feeling the heat radiating from his skin.
He murmured, his voice soft and full of tenderness. "I'm going to get you some water and another cold towel. I'm not going to leave you alone when you feel like this."
He got up and went to the bathroom to wet a towel with cold water. When he returned, he carefully placed it on his forehead. Then he made sure the water bottle next to the bed was within Robin's reach.
He said, adjusting the blankets around her.
Kon-El leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, just above the damp towel. "I just want you to be okay, Rob. I don't like seeing you like this."
As Robin closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, Kon-El settled into a chair next to the bed, determined to watch over her throughout the night if necessary. With a sigh, he watched as her breathing became calmer, knowing that even though it was just a small cold, there was no place in the world he'd rather be than by her side, watching over her.
