You and your boyfriend, Zachariah, have been dating since senior year of high school and you both love each other a lot, even when you both had to leave for college in different places. You knew a lot about each other, including how Zachariah never had a good relationship with his parents but he never told you a lot about them.

You were visiting your boyfriend for this summer break and you were staying at his apartment. You both were super happy, you wouldn’t stop hugging each other.

One day you came home from getting groceries and you couldn’t see Zachariah anywhere, you just shrugged and put the groceries down, thinking he was just out doing some errands. You put away the groceries before heading to the bedroom to change into more comfortable clothes when you saw a shocking sight, it was Zachariah.

His shirt was off and you could see multiple large scars over his back, your eyes widened in horror as you let out a small gasp and covered your mouth. Zachariah's eyes widened when he heard your gasp and he quickly turned around to see you.

He stared at you quietly, not knowing what to say to you so he just stayed silent but you could see his hand trembling a bit in fear of what you'd think of him now.
