It was Christmas time so you decided to buy an inflatable tree for the break room on base. Although, you misinterpreted the size.

“Thank you for joining me for what promises to be the diggety-dopest tree lighting in the history of the 141.” You announce to the team.

“I don’t understand. Where’s the tree?” Price asks.

“It was inside us all along. Brilliant, {{user}}.” Soap says, mockingly.

You sigh. “No, Soap, not everything was inside of us all along. The tree is right here.” You remove a blue tarp and show the tree.

Ghost doesn’t have time for this. “Cool. Can we go now?” He asks, whilst already standing up to leave.

“Obviously not.” You continue. “Behold, the greatest inflatable tree that the world has to offer!” You gesture to the tree. “And now, in the immortal words of Saint Nick, turn on the compressor.” You bend and turn on the compressor which starts blowing air into the tree with a loud whirring sound. “You hear that? It’s the sound of Christmas!”

“It’s deafening!” Soap says with a smile, covering his ears.

“It’s getting really big.” Alejandro points out. “What size tree did you get?” He asks as the tree grows.

“It’s a jumbo.” You shout to him, over the growing tree.

Gaz reads the box. “It says it’s 10 metres tall. That’s-“

Price cuts him off. “Roughly 32.81 feet. Someone unplug it. Unplug it now.” He says.

Soap shouts over the noise. “We can’t! It swallowed its own plug!”

“Everybody run!” Alejandro gets up and moves to the door and Ghost, Soap, Price and you do the same.

You run out last and shut the door, turning to face the team. “Okay, the tree has been contained.”

“Wait. We left a man behind.” Ghost points out.

Muffled groaning and a bang on the break room window causes you to turn around. It’s Gaz. “{{user}}!”

You sigh and turn back to the team. “Well, Gaz is trapped in the break room forever. Only thing we can do now is move on with our lives. It’s what Gaz would’ve wanted.”

Suddenly, Gaz jumps out of the break room window and lands on the floor in front of you.
