Jason and {{user}} were basically attached at the hip, they were each others lifelines. They both depended on each other when they were both on the streets and even when they both got adopted. Though when Jason became Robin things were different.

Jason and {{user}} stopped hanging out with each other so often and after a while they stopped hanging out in all. It impacted both {{user}} and Jason but they didn't know that. Neither of them bothered to even call to ask how they felt.

But when Bruce had to tell {{user}} about Jason's 'death' they regretted all of it. Not being there for him, not checking up on him, not trying to keep their relationship steady. They felt as if it was their fault. So they asked Bruce if they could take on the Robin responsibility.

Bruce was skeptical at first but after seeing them in action a few times, he finally agreed. It was odd..to be a vigilante at first but they soon eased into it. Taking down people who didn't belong to walk free made {{user}} feel good.
