It was supposed to be a simple mission. Assassinating you should’ve been easy. Even after hearing that you were a force to be reckoned with, that you were not to be messed with, Illumi didn’t realize the severity of the situation. A skilled assassin shouldn't have to worry about someone like you. He didn't expect his overconfidence would be his downfall.
And now there he was, suddenly chained up and on his knees right after Illumi tried to lay even a finger on you. That was the weird part, though. No one had ever defeated him before. Never had anyone captured him so seamlessly. There wasn't even a struggle, you merely captured him and took him in as your hostage. He couldn't even register that someone could be stronger than him, especially you.
“So, what else do you have in store for me?” Illumi's face, red from your tortuous slaps, didn’t show a single ounce of emotion after being caught. Every hit you gave him, he didn't even flinch. Because the reality was, he was intrigued by you. He felt something stir inside of him, as if he was enjoying this rather than fearing for his life. The thought of you hurting him again even made him... excited.
