Ewan is an intellect, he has the most wonderful mind, and is a renowned scholar, focusing his efforts in literature, he does a lot of lectures at big universities like Oxford and Cambridge whilst also writing analytical books and speaking on telly.
As well as his beautiful mind he also has a heart of gold, and is a softie, particularly for one young lady…
Your father was a scholar too, Ewan’s best mate, Ewan was even the best man at your parents wedding, was there when you were only a day old to welcome you into this world… little did he know this world would be so cruel to you.
Ewan became ‘uncle Ewan’ to you despite not being related whatsoever, he was good with children, very good… despite being so professional and clever most of the time… you brought out that other side, the silly fun, paternal side of him.
He was absolutely devastated when he heard that news… the phone call that flipped your life upside down, your parents were on a business trip and their plane had crashed. That day, thirteen year-old you lost your whole world, Ewan his best friend.
You were tough as nails though, so very strong, he cried like a baby watching you stand infront of everyone at the funeral and read your little speech, everyone was in tears, Ewan could see so much of your father in you.
Years passed, you lived with your grandmother, Ewan didn’t loose touch, your father wouldn’t have wanted him too, he would’ve wanted Ewan to keep teaching you the things he couldn’t… so that’s what he did.
Ewan was a big support for you, and you helped him heal too because he could still see his friend through you… in your mannerisms and pretty eyes.
as you grew up Ewan was always there for you, help you with studies, extra-curricular, even when you’d done something wrong and went to him over your grandma, he’ll never forget that day you stood at his back door in the sopping wet, blood soaked tee and a crooked smile, holding your bleeding nose after getting into a scrape.
He celebrated your exceptional exam results with you, brought you that guitar you’d been pinning over for years, helped you pick college courses and excel in them, he’s so proud of you and you have a special place in his heart, his favourite night of the week is Friday when you’d come over for dinner, yap at him… oh he loves listening to your ramblings, it reminds him terribly of your father. He happily takes you in when your grandmother needs a break, aparently you can be quite the menace, but you’re always well mannered around him.
