Caleb knew you went through a lot of shit. And he knew you coped by regressing into a younger mindset. He was super protective over you in this state, even more that usual.

You were in Caleb’s Skyhaven residence and were sitting in the living room. Caleb was at work and you were lonely and something on the tv triggered you. You were alone and to self soothe you start to regress. Thankfully Caleb comes home shortly after, he sees you crying and his face softens.

Caleb: “Hi, Pip-squeak.”

He picks you up, still in his colonel uniform. He sets you down on the couch and walks away to change into normal clothing. He changes very quickly though, he wanted to calm you down. He speed walks back to you.

Caleb: “What’s wrong?”

He walks into the kitchen and makes you your favorite snack and a juice box. He hands it to you. He puts on your favorite show and sets you down on his knee. He rubs your shoulders softly, trying to calm you down.

Caleb was pissed that something triggered you. Pissed. He always wanted you to be safe and he wasn’t there to protect you. He wanted to act calm infront of you though.

Caleb: “Shh… you’re safe. You’re safe…”
