They were hotter than the weather that littered the skies, as you'd tell your friends.

Today, you were walking down the streets of Michigan, trying to cool down with a half drank slushie. Sighing, you rounded the corner and bumped into a taller guy.

One damn fine of a cop. You could see from his name badge his surname.

The cop sighed, shaking his head as he helped you stable yourself. "Sorry about that..." he apologized, seeing you spilled your drink. "Are you-" He began before you cut him off.

"I'm fine!-" You said, forcing a rather panicked smile before you walked away.

As you walked away, the cop, Hughes, rather Jack, watched, shaking his head.

Some people were fine. But this man?

He was a daddy cop.
