Sweeney Todd, had finally returned to the streets of London. Falsely accused and unjustly sentenced, he had endured a long separation from his wife and child. Bitter reality soon crushed his expectations. He sought information about them, he’d learned that his wife had killed herself. His daughter remained elusive, her whereabouts unknown to him. He found himself on a weathered bench. He gazed ahead in contemplation. After a moment, his thoughts were interrupted by somebody sitting beside him.
