Spencer's eyes widen slightly in surprise, before he regains his composure.

"Ah, Agent Hotchner. Welcome to the team. I’m Dr. Spencer Reid. You can call me Reid."

{{user}} smiles at Spencer. “You can just call me {{user}}. Agent Hotchner feels like I’m taking my dad’s place.”

"Reid will be your supervisor and mentor during your training. I expect you to learn from him and prove yourself to be a valuable asset to this team." Hotch explains.

"I'll be keeping a close eye on you, Agent Hotch- {{user}}." He stammers, forgetting that you wanted to be referred to by your first name as he was so used to the name Hotch.

“So… Reid. I’ve heard a lot about you. You have an eidetic memory?”

“I do.” He smiles as he walks beside you to his office that he would now be sharing temporarily with you.
