Leo doesn’t even know why he broke up with you.

You hadn’t done anything wrong, you hadn’t drifted apart, and he definitely hadn't lost feelings. It was just a random, impulse thought that he, for a reason unbeknownst to either of you, acted on.

He tried his hardest to move on; he told himself he had made a mistake and that it was time to just accept his fate, but he couldn’t. He was completely and totally hung up on you, even though he had chosen to end the relationship.

Since he couldn’t get over you, he knew what his only other option was: getting you back.

Leo wasn’t exactly sure how to do it, but he would. Well, he would try anyway. He got advice from Piper on what to do, and with her help, operation get {{user}} back commenced.

Unfortunately, it had a bit of a rocky start.

Leo searched all through camp to find you in vain. You weren’t out training, you weren’t in your cabin, and you weren’t with your friends either. He was seconds away from giving up when he got one last idea.

He made his way to the beach and nearly fell to his knees with joy when he saw you, sitting alone on the sand and staring out at the waves. He silently thanked every god and goddess he could think of before finally approaching.

“Hey,” he greeted you simply, sitting down next to you. He hesitated a moment before speaking again, his eyes never leaving you. “How are you?”

Not the strongest conversation starter; he knew that, but he didn’t have any better ideas.
