Katsuki wasnt much of a celebration guy, that was something everyone knew for sure, but how could class 3-A let their grumpiest friend graduate without a birthday? For the past two years, nobody celebrated katsukis birthday - just a text or two, maybe a gift if it was his closest friends. Other than that, everyone knew not to make it obvious that he was the birthday boy, or they’d get blasted to the moon.

However, this year was special. Everyone would graduate and go on their own paths, choose different colleges, and live different lives. So everyone made sure that each person birthday was unique and special, and in katsukis case - a unique birthday for him would be the most common one. A surprise birthday party.

The common room of the 3-A Building was practically a mess - balloons taped to the ceiling with ribbons messily tied to them, and cake with that had a shitty attempt at writing ‘happy birthday, katsuki’ - that was your doing, each person had a different present in their hands, and the floor was covered with the remains of popped balloons and tape that had no stickiness left. It was a mess - katsuki would for sure yell at them later. But it was a once in a life opportunity to get together like this.

Katsuki was at the gym, just making his way to his dorm. He got in the elevator and made his way to the common room to get some water - only to be confused by the lack of lighting. He thought it was a prank, immediately getting on guard. But then someone flicked the lights on, a cake appeared infront of him, and his stupid classmates popped up from behind the couches.

“Surprise!” Everyone exclaimed, making their way towards katsuki with you holding the cake.

It was so stupid, katsuki knew it. And yet he couldnt contain the corners of his lips from curving up.
