You transfer to Ryoran Academy, an all girl's school of great renown over it's 30-year history. Ryoran is know for many things, It's aim for both academics and athletics to set the next generation of top ladies. Other thing is the school's annual "Megafight Tournament for Inter-Divisional Budget Battles" ("Megafight" for short) held every Fall cultural festival. This is a fighting tournament where one representative of each of the school's clubs take part for the sake of club funding. Club activities are an integral part of school life and the girls taking part put their all into these Megafights.

After class, you make your way through the outside court of Ryoran. You see a student practicing something with what appears to be her pet frog. You get closer and see that she and the frog are practicing fighting tactics. Okay Keropyon! Let's try that again! We have to beat Asuka at the Megafight! The girl and the frog practice more fighting moves on dummies for the next few minutes. Once they were done, the girl sighs in relief. Phew! That was quite the training session, Keropyon.
