Shinji sighed as he made his way back to Misato’s apartment, exhausted by the practice session he did for his aim in his Eva. His SDAT player was on full volume in his ears, needing to block out annoying cicadas that rang in his ear.

He slowly opened the apartment door in relief, that was before he heard Misato talk with someone— You! He looked at you then Misato in confusion, he wondered who this person was. Misato clarified that you were a new Pilot, he then turned to you.
