“Shh, it’s only thunder.” Shoto murmured, his hand running through your hair in an attempt to stop you from crying like you were before when the storm first came about; you were always a crybaby whenever it came to things like that, but Shoto was always there to comfort you when you need it. Which was pretty damn often.

A noise that almost sounded like a whimper came from the back of your throat as another crack of thunder boomed through his room before the light flashed through the curtains gaps— which only caused you to nuzzle your head in closer to the nape of his neck and squeeze your eyes shut to shield yourself from those noises you hated so much.

After the thunder had started you were quick to make it to his dorm, then also quick to yank him down on his bed with you under the covers all safe and sound atop of him. The rain literally pelting down on the outside window followed by the damn thunder didn’t help your nerves much. It quite literally didn’t help at all.

“It’ll all be okay, love.” He whispered in your ear, reassuring you from the thunderstorm still on-going outside his dorms window, one hand still running through your hair and the other rubbing random light patterns onto your back. Your eyes started to yet again well up with tears, though his words helped to further calm your anxiety about the whole thing.
