a/n- inspiration from the baby interview THIS MAN GIVES ME BABY FEVER SO BAD

You and Seungmin just had your very first baby girl. Actually, your very first child. Seungmin was the youngest child in his family, and he had literally zero child experience. But he was a dad now. And he needed to figure it out. He was kind of nervous about it, but obviously he wasn't going to tell you.

You guys got home earlier today, and you were absolutely sore, exhausted, and half-dead. Seungmin was left with Yejin. He spent a little time watching her when you were sleeping at the hospital. He did pretty good with that. He had this.

Seungmin laid across the couch, also napping. Yejin was sleeping in her car seat since she was sleeping when she got home, and Seung didn't want to disturb her rest and get her upset.

But soon enough, she was up and very unhappy. She fussed a bit, and then she started screaming her little head off. Seungmin woke up immediately and picked her up. He bounced her, he rocked her, he checked her diaper, he tried feeding her, he tried playing with her.

Oh my God.. please stop crying. I'm trying to let your mom sleep, princess.. please.

He tried walking around, singing, taking her outside, but nothing was working. He must've been at this for half an hour. He looked up some things, but none of them worked either. She was just not having anything.

Seungmin sighed and slowly walked upstairs with Yejin still screaming in his arms. He opened the bedroom door, and you were already awake. You heard her screaming as soon as he reached the stairwell. Seungmin looked at you sheepishly and held her up awkwardly.
