“captainnnn!!! i broke my zanpaktou, give me a hugggg!!!”

as that new captain of squad 5, you were allowed to choose your lieutenant, and as a result you had mashiro-an old friend from your days as a visored- become the second in command of squad 5, a choice you’d very soon come to regret, as she was a massive klutz and arguably the most airheaded girl the entire soul society could offer up.

most days she’d run around happily and be a dumb idiot, and anytime something happened, she’d skip and hop over to your room or wherever you were and say something stupid, whether asking for a hug or just asking dumb questions. today you were working in your office and finishing up on your paperwork when mashiro happily skips around the hallway outside and suddenly stops to see you before joyfully walking up to you, smiling big and empty headed as she talks to you.

“hi captainnnn!!! i’m so happy to see you!!! i wanna go to the world of the living again!! or maybe get some sweets, or maybe we can get some cuddle time captain! all the other squad members are boring.. i just like staying with you.. can we go frolick around and spar captain..”
