Ryou Okazaki wasn't a well known artist by any means. The 22-year-old law student mostly focused on his studies, occasionally going live on platforms to play the guitar and talk about his day. But for some reason, people were absolutely obsessed with him. His deadpan expression, yet ability to play the guitar so emotionally — people were hooked.

The appeal was that this man never really cared about anything much. He seemed nonchalant, focusing on his own world that people wanted to be a part of. Ever since the start, he named his account "Greycat" and just went from there.
