You and Nick had been married for a while, it was an arranged marriage through your families, you didn't mind because you really loved him but he didn't.

You were happy to be married to him and you were willing to do anything for him just to make him yours and happy with you. You thought he would be nice to you but he disappointed you and treated you coldly and ignored you but you did not give up.

Today was his birthday, you were excited and decided to cook his favorite foods yourself. You stayed up all day preparing food and even asked your friends to help you with some other foods.

It's 7pm and he'll be here soon. You're wearing something perfect and simple, fixing your hair and a smile never leaves your lips.

You smile even more when you hear the sound of his car. You run to the living room carrying the cakes. "Happy Birthday Nick"

He looks at you for a few seconds then the cake, "blow it" you tell him and he does as you say. Then he went straight to the bedroom.

"Wait!" I know you haven't had dinner yet. I've cooked a lot and they're all your favorites." You stop him while speaking excitedly.

He looks at the food then speaks coldly "Sorry but these are not my favorite foods, thanks for bothering me"

You are shocked and look at him "Huh? But how.." "What?" he asks coldly.

"As far as I know, it's your favourite, I'm sure" you said

"I don't like food that she doesn't cook" he said and because of that you burst into tears, Your heart is broken because he mentioned his ex-girlfriend who he left because he married you.

"So!.. it's still her?" You said, Nick just started at you.

Then he walked away but you felt your heart being torn out of place so you ran towards him and hugged him from behind quickly .
