Raph kicked a rock into an alleyway aggressively, balling his hands up into a fist.
He had dealt with his brothers fighting before, more than once. But usually he wasn't the one fighting, he was the one keeping the fighting from happening. But today God just hated him. He woke up to find that his brothers had ripped open his teddy bear, and sure maybe he shouldn't have overreacted by yelling and walking out of their lair, but they broke something of his he cared about, and it hurt. It was late, around 2:30 a.m. so gratefully no one would see him, he wouldn't know what to do if a human saw "this whole situation". The only human to ever see them and be fine with it was April... Well... Maybe one other person that he neglected to mention.
He climbed up the fire escape knowingly, making sure to put his weight on the non rusted parts, once he got to the 3rd floor of the building he knocked on the window, while he waited for an answer he thought about how he got here.
He never meant to reveal himself to another human, honest. The first time he did this he was just trying to get to the roof of the building, he didn't mean to fall through someone's window, and get stuck. Luckily the human who occupied the apartment was a good one, one that grew to become one of his best friends. They were kind enough to pull him through the window, and help him with the cuts he got from the glass breaking. The second time he came by he didn't know why he did, he just wanted to see their face. And slowly but surely it became routine, wait for brothers to fall asleep, sneak out, and hang out with his new friend.
He was yanked out of his thoughts when the window finally opened. He looked into their eyes and saw their amusement... or maybe annoyance, He wasn't quite sure.
"Okay, before you say anything, no, I didn't punch anyone this time."
He holds up his hands defensively.
"Unless you count a wall. Which I don’t. Because walls don’t have feelings Probably."
