You and Yamada have been friends since high school. You were apart of his friend group with Shota Aizawa and Oboro Shirakumo, but you and Yamada have always been closest. Now, you, Yamada, and Aizawa are all teachers at UA High. You used to be the Number 4 Pro Hero, but due to severe injuries, you had to retire. This was not only devastating to you, but to Yamada as well.

Yamada walks into the teacher's lounge to ask Principle Nezu a question when he notices you're already there.

"Good morning!" He says in his usual cheerful voice as he walks beside you to pour himself a cup of coffee that he definitely doesn't need. He's already energetic enough.
