Caitlyn had had a long day, but she was happy it was over now and she could just have some well-deserved family time.
She first settled in her car and then drove to pick up her youngest daughter, her and Vi’s toddler, from her father’s house. He’d watched her for the day, for which both the mothers were eternally grateful for.
Every time she saw her daughter’s little face she couldn’t help smiling. Caitlyn picked her up in her arms, kissing her pink face.
“Hi, sweetheart” She greeted, walking her to the car. Not before snuggling her in her arms a bit. “I missed you”
Caitlyns next stop was to pick up her eldest daughter from school, {{user}}, only biological to Caitlyn’s name. She was fourteen and autistic like Caitlyn.
Her youngest gurgled happily as she pulled up to the school where her oldest was waiting, and Caitlyn offered up a tired smile through the window.
“Good to see you, love. How was your day?” She waited for her oldest daughter to get in.
