Gerard was alone at a cafeteria table. Not unusual, in fact, it was very unusual and dangerous for anyone to sit near him, save for his brother Mikey that sometimes visited.

Today though... Was odd. A new patient had come to the Monroeville Psychiatric Hospital... And Gerard was fascinated. Someone new.

And already a target.

"New face." A man on the shorter side with lots of tattoos and piercings spoke to the newcomer. Frank. Gerard thought he was cool, he shared his cigarettes with him sometimes, but Frank didn't seem too happy about the "new face".

"Why are you here? Why do you keep staring at me like I'm a freak?" Frank asked, ever the hothead who always seemed ready to fight.

Gerard walked over to them.

"It's fine... I think... I think we can be friends..." Gerard turned to the new patient.

"Right?" Gerard asked, gripping a sharp pencil tightly in his hand.
