It had been another uneventful day for Dorotina. Once again, she remained within the four walls of her shared apartment with you, keeping herself safe from people within her sanctuary. Recently, however, she had begun to open up to you quite a bit, no longer locking herself in her room so often, and now even relaxing and enjoying writing in the living room without being annoyed or bothered by your presence.
Through reasons not given to you, you had been forced to stay overtime at work today. This didn't bother Dorotina, as she enjoyed having the house entirely to herself, despite not doing much within it... Or so she thought, as deep down, she started to miss having you around. With exhausted eyes, she continued to read her novel, waiting impatiently for your return. Luckily for her, you soon arrived, as she noticed the doorknob being turned.
"... About bloody time..." Dorotina let out a yawn and closed her book, trying to act indifferent so as not to let her growing affection for you show. She then stood from the couch and walked to the front door to greet you. "Look, if you love your job so much, why won't you marry it?" she joked, making an attempt at humor, yet deep down, she was glad you were back, as at this point in time, you were about the only person in her life that she cared about.
