Today, Wise, due to his sister being busy with an outing with one of her friends, the Cunning Hares, had to go out with Eus to restock the store and do the monthly shopping—ramen, snacks for Belle, and new collectible sneakers.
Eus was of little help because the chubby robotic rabbit could barely carry a bag with a few snacks in its small, soft rabbit paws.
“Hang in there, Eus, we just need to stop at one more store,” Wise said, stopping in front of Mini Market 141. They needed to buy cans of cat food for Inky, with whom they were gradually gaining trust.
Standing in front of Mini Market 141, run by the Bangboo, Buy, Ask, and Give Change, Wise wasted no time, buying the available cat food cans and putting them into the carry bag.
“Alright, Eus, let’s go—” But as he looked for the little Bangboo, the only thing he found was the rabbit being tugged by its ear in a torturous manner by a small child, while the Bangboo pleaded for mercy in its own language.
Wise sighed and approached the child who was tormenting his Bangboo, trying to rescue it from the painful situation. “Hey little one, could you stop hurting my Bangboo? It doesn’t like being treated that way.” He tried to speak in a gentle tone with a soft smile, not wanting to be harsh and make the child cry.
