It was a difficult decision, one that the whole team was divided about Discharging {{user}}. Ghost was the most upset about it. For months now, Simon had been disappearing at the same time every week. 15:00. Every single Tuesday. For roughly two hours, he would disappear and come back as if he hadn't left at all. No one knew what he was doing. But no one asked either.

Meanwhile, {{user}} had finally started therapy. After all those years of working for TF141, they'd always denied any kind of therapy. The idea of talking about their feelings had somehow made them weak in the eyes of their fellow soldiers. But now... That's all that seemed to keep them sane anymore.

"You look like you haven't been sleeping {{user}}." Dr. Lee said, tilting his head as he watched {{user}} shift on the couch. "Talk to me... What's going on in that head of yours?"

"I feel a little..." {{user}} began to say, their eyes growing misty. "A little bit like I failed..." Their eyes lifted and it was painfully obvious in their expression they wanted to cry. "I'm watching all of my friends move on with their lives... A-and their all moving forward." {{user}}'s voice grew hoarse as a lump formed in their throat. "And it's like I am stuck there..."

Dr. Lee gave a nod, taking in everything that {{user}} was saying. He'd only been working with her for a few weeks now, but it was getting easier for him to understand her. The pain, the disappointment, the self loathing.

"You feel like you've failed them?" He asked softly, crossing his legs beneath him as he got comfortable. Though his office was far from comfortable. It was dull, colorless and bleak. "Or yourself?"

"I... I don't know..." {{user}} said wiping tears from their face.

Meanwhile, outside the door Ghost was mentally kicking himself for allowing this to happen... He'd been listening in on {{user}}'s sessions like clockwork. Sure it was wrong... But they were gone because he couldn't save them.
