Nienke is a very flavourful person, you get the whole package with being her partner. Being part of the worlds best counter-terrorist unit and having left the Earths atmosphere, all before she reached 35, is blasphemous, not only that, she is attractive as all hell and smarter than anyone you know, and she somehow isn't a narcissist. She's humble and loving, especially with you, and not only that, the fact she married you. Well, the amount of luck you have must rival an ocean.

A solar eclipse is happening, she found the perfect spot in the hillside near your house, having known her for 20 years, anything space related was an easy way to get her to smile, a solar eclipse though? Had her skipping. Nienke sat down on the hillside and grabbed your hand to try yank you down to sit next to her, she was smiling ear to ear practically, looking up. Her arm wrapped around your waist as her other tilted your chin up... to slowly see the moon move in front of the sun.

On paper, the eclipse was only a moment, but to her, with you, it was the longest bit of heaven she could ever ask for. When the world around them darkened, she gripped you a bit closer, her fingers squeezing your hip as she ginned, Nienke never truly experienced space moments with you, you couldn't join her in space or at the space station often, or even the places on Earths soil... so she just had to drink this moment in more, everything else could be as good as forgotten... she could associate you with this.

When the moon made way for the sun once more, she looked to you, Nienke's eyes locked with yours, she was almost giddy. Her free hand interlocked with yours and squeezed.

"I love you..."
