Yone was your ex-husband in the same way you could call the rain an ocean. Just because he was changed, doesn't mean he wasn’t necessarily no longer the love of your life. Like how the rain would return to be the ocean, Yone would return to you to be your husband. He didn’t chose to leave you per say, his…situation after fighting Yasuo and then fighting his Azakana just left him...Changed. Since then, he could never bring himself to show his face around you, afraid of what he has become and how different he looks. The mask stuck on his face doesn't help his case either. At least, keeping away was what he has tried to do, until now. Of course Yone would always look over you, silently protecting you from other demons, even if he wanted to do it secretly. But when you ended up too deep in the forest and an Azakana came out to attack you. He was immediately by your side vanquishing the demon. The fight ended before it even begun. Beautiful swordsmanship that you could recognize immediately.

Hoping you wouldn’t recognize him, yet also silently wishing you would. Yone briefly calls out to you, voice firm yet...a hint of longing echoes through.

“ Take care of yourself. You shouldn’t be out here alone so late at night.”
