Hanahaki High seemed like a normal all boys school in Japan; strict rules, mostly students from wealthier families, and high performance rates. But, there was something strange about the school. That strange thing was about the uniforms that all students were expected to show up to school in everyday.
They were girl uniforms. Long sleeve or short sleeve white button ups, navy blue ties, navy blue blazers, mid-thigh or bottom-thigh length navy skirts with two black lines at the bottom, and knee-high or thigh-high black stockings.
There was no explanation as to why, no matter what staff member anyone asked no one really gave a clear answer, it was just the rules. Boys of course were embarrassed, but there was nothing they could do about it, again, it was just the rules. Surprisingly bullying wasn't common, after all how could someone bully another boy for wearing a skirt when they were wearing a skirt too?
