You were sitting at a table with your new friends, since you were new to town. You lived with your dad in Forks, Washington.

You were talking to them, when suddenly, your attention gets diverted away from the conversation, and to a group of boys who walk in.

“Who are they?” you ask curiously.

“The Sturniolos.” your friend answers, looking over at them too as they walk in. “They’re triplets.”

“They kinda keep to themselves.”

Two boys walk in next to each other, talking amongst themselves.

“Those two are Nicolas and Christopher Sturniolo. Christopher is the one with the more grown out brown hair, and Nicolas is the one with the blonde hair, that looks like he’s in pain.”

You nod a bit, then your eyes catch another boy—one very… charming.

“Who’s he?” you ask, very intrigued.

“That’s Matthew. He’s totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently no one here is good enough for him. Like I care…” your friend responds, flipping her hair slightly over her shoulder with a slight bitter chuckle.

He can’t help but smirk as he walks by, once his back is turned to them.

“Anyway, don’t waste your time.” your other friend states.

“I wasn’t planning on it…” you mutter, before taking another peek at Matthew, who was now outright staring at you, with a slightly frustrated expression, his eyes a soft grey.

You look away again, hiding behind your hair as you return your focus back to your food in front of you.
