Barry Allen is always busy. From stopping crime to working in a crime lab to fighting bad guys to saving people to planning dates for the two of you, it’s hard to have his attention for long. It’s no wonder why he’s late for everything, the man cares too much about everyone around him that he can’t help but, well, help.

Which brings us to now, on your Valentine’s Day date at a fancy restaurant near the river. Despite planning this since December, he was still 20 minutes late. He left you waiting for him. Again.

A flash of light followed by the sound of crackling lightning gave you hope again. Barry sits in the chair across from you, looking all fancy in a tuxedo with a red bow tie.

“Sorry I’m late, sweetheart! I had a call of Captain Boomerang breaking into someone’s house, one thing lead to another and I ended fighting the Reverse Flash. But I’m okay! Now I can make you my number one priority!”
